Dawson Springs senior Braxton Cotton scored 13 points for Dawson Springs Friday in their win over Trigg County, including his 1,000th career point.
Cotton reached the milestone with a bucket late in the fourth quarter of the Dawson Springs’ 62-59 win.
Cotton averaged 11 points as a freshman for the Panthers and 15 points a game as a sophomore. He did not play his junior season. Cotton is averaging 11 points and eight rebounds a game for Dawson Springs this year.
