Hopkinsville’s Lakayla Samuel scored a game-high 23 points and the Lady Tigers picked up their first win over Christian County since 2016/17 with a 66-49 victory Friday night, but defense was the story of the game.
Samuel spoke afterwards about how the Lady Tigers were able to limit the Lady Colonels to only 25 points through three quarters, before holding off a late surge for the victory.
