Hoptown Archery Places Two at the Top, Finishes Third at Russellville

Hopkinsville had the top shooters Saturday at the Russellville Archery Tournament that helped the Tigers finish third as a team.

Nathan Morris shot a 293 to win the male division and was two shots better than second place Isaac Stanley of Logan County.

Mary Poe shot a 291 to win the female division by one shot.

As a team, Hopkinsville finished third with 3,314 points.  Logan County (3,352) was first, and Muhlenberg County (3,342) was second in the 10-team field.

Hopkinsville’s top 12 scorers on the day were:

293 – Nathan Morris (1st in male division)

291 – Mary Poe (1st in female division)

284 – Chandler Neighbors (6th in male division)

282 – Will Futrell (10th in male division)

280 – Juston Phipps (13th in male division)

277 – Noella Tucker (11th in female division)
