Caldwell County gave Webster County a battle on Tuesday night in Dixon before the Trojans held on for a 75-71 victory.
Webster improved to 19-2 on the season.
Caldwell led 39-37 at halftime. The Tigers (9-12) were as close as 71-69 with just over a minute to play but could never draw even down the stretch.
