Lyon County picked up a win over Caldwell County in boys’ basketball and also captured the Border Battle trophy Thursday in Eddyville.
Travis Perry scored 26 points to lead the Lyons to a 68-57 win over the Tigers.
The Lyon student section then won the Border Battle trophy from Caldwell in a competition featuring a food drive, most students in attendance and a basketball shooting contest between games among members of the student sections.
