Murray State signee Charlee Settle had 28 points and eight rebounds as Calloway County’s girls dealt Caldwell County a 75-34 setback in makeup action Saturday night in Murray.
The Lady Lakers (12-9) ran out to a 26-7 lead after one quarter and took a 44-21 lead to halftime.
Caldwell (11-10) could never get back in the game in the second half as Calloway pushed the final margin to 41 points.
Settle, a 6-foot-1 senior, was 11 of 13 from the field as part of her big night. Settle is closing in on 2,600 career points and 1,600 rebounds at Calloway.
Elle Carson added 14 points for the Lady Lakers.
Bella McConnell was the only Lady Tiger to score in double figures, finishing with 13 points.
Caldwell’s girls are in action again on Tuesday when they visit Hopkins County Central.
