The Fort Campbell girls’ basketball team dropped its second result of the season against West Creek, TN, falling 43-16 Friday night on post.
Armani Barnes scored 6 points in the first quarter to lead West Creek to a 19-4 lead, and the Coyotes led 27-10 at halftime.
Barnes added 5 more in the third quarter and West Creek outscored the Lady Falcons 12-2 to end any thoughts of a comeback. The fourth quarter was a 4-4 stalemate for the final 27-point margin.
Asia Cabili led Fort Campbell with 6 points, followed by Danielle Houston and Marissa Cole with 4 each. Barnes led all scorers with 13 for the Coyotes.
The Lady Falcons will be back on the court on Monday against another Tennessee team when Montgomery Central makes the trip to post.
