The 1974-75 Trigg County boys’ basketball team that won 20 games and advanced to the region championship game was recognized Monday night at Wildcat Gym.
The Wildcats were 20-11 and won the district title. They advanced to the region championship game where they were defeated by Christian County 71-66.
Team members recognized were James Hobson, Garfield Curlin, “Big” Ricky Radford, Lawrence Cheatham, Fred Wilson, Bill Stallons, Bill Fort, George Crump, and John Ben Travis. Other team members were Steve Turnley, Mike Wright, Ricky Radford, Carl Miller, Jack McGee, Steve Guess, Kevin Washer, Henry Cunningham, and Frank Hobson.
Coaches were Jim Wallace, Buddy Sivills, and George Radford. Managers were Jeff Carr and Danny Siegler.
