After transferring back to the Fort Campbell school system just before the start of his junior season, a member of the Falcon football team officially signed his letter of intent Wednesday to continue his career on the collegiate level. Falcon senior quarterback Matt Middleton to play with Riverside City College in Riverside, California.
Riverside, a member of the California Community College Athletic Association, finished the 2019 season at 13-0, and winning the CCCAA state championship.
During his senior season at Fort Campbell, Middleton was 117 of 249, with 12 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also carried the ball 76 times for 111 yards.
Following the ceremony, Middleton spoke with YourSportsEdge about heading to the West Coast to play college football.
