Falcon Swimmers Produce Best-Ever Finish at Region

Fort Campbell’s young swim team put together their best finish at the region level, finishing fifth in the combined team competition at Saturday’s Region Meet at Hopkinsville High.

Fort Campbell totaled 305 points on the day.  Both the boys and girls finished sixth in their division, which was enough to beat sixth place Paducah Tilghman by 39 points.

GIRLS

Alexsa Hoffman – 6^th in the 200 IM (2:41.27); 14^th in the 50 free (30.62)

Abigail Graham – 7^th in the 100 fly (1:12.69); 9^th in the 500 free (6:34.26)

Jimmy Joo – 8^th in the 100 breast (1:24.73); 11^th in the 100 back (1:18.05); 13^th in the 100 free (1:07.63)

Olivia Starz – 9^th in the 100 breast (1:23.49); 13^th in the 200 free (2:33.25)

Olivia Calese – 10^th in the 100 fly (1:21.42); 10^th in the 100 back (1:17.39)

Anika Weisbrich – 13^th in the 200 IM (3:04.39)

The 200 medley relay team of Olivia Calese, Sunny Joo, Abigail Graham, and Alexsa Hoffman finished sixth in 2:15.81.

The 200 free relay team of Olivia Calese, Jinny Joo, Olivia Starz, and Alexsa Hoffman finished sixth in 2:04.15

The 400 free relay team of London Tubb, Will Gunter, Gabe Gorsuch, and Holden Starz finished 6^th in 4:52.84.
