Caldwell County tried to push Madisonville-North Hopkins on Friday. The Tigers were within three points in the third quarter and were down only five with just over 5 minutes to play in the game.
However, the Maroons closed the game with a 15-2 run to deal Caldwell a 66-48 setback.
Tiger head coach Daniel Kukahiko said his team played well, despite the loss.
