The Fort Campbell girl’s basketball team hosted the 4th Region’s Franklin-Simpson on Friday night, with the visiting Lady Wildcats earning a 43-13 victory over the Lady Falcons. Fort Campbell will be on the road on Thursday at Trigg County.
Franklin-Simpson’s Conleigh Wilson scored 4 of her 6 points in the first quarter, and they Lady Wildcats led 11-2 after one. The Lady Falcons failed to get on the board in the second, trailing 24-2 at the halftime break.
Danielle Houston scored all 5 of her points in the third, but that was it for the Lady Falcons, and they trailed 36-7 with a quarter left. Marissa Cole scored 4 in the fourth, but Fort Campbell was outscored 7-6 for the final margin.
