
Travis Perry poured in 39 points and the Lyon County Lyons won for the eighth time in nine games, capturing an 89-69 decision Friday night at Union County.
Lyon, now 18-9, led 20-16 after one quarter and 43-34 at halftime.
The Lyons then seized control in the third quarter, outscoring the Braves 31-15 in the stanza to go up 74-49.
Perry hit five 3-pointers and was 8-of-9 at the free throw line as part of his big night. Brady Shoulders also made five shots from beyond the arc and added 18 points for the Lyons.
Kaleb Kanipe had 20 points to lead Union County (9-17) while Izaiah Manuel scored 19.
The Lyons will play again on Saturday night, hosting Clarksville (Tenn.) at Jason White Gymnasium in Eddyville.
