Hopkins County Central junior Madison Grigg connected from 27 feet with just 4.4 seconds to play to lift the Lady Storm to a 59-58 win over Lyon County on Senior Night in Mortons Gap.
Lyon had overcome a 19-point deficit Thursday night to lead 58-56 before Griggs’ bucket pushed Hopkins Central back in front.
The Lady Lyons had one final chance to win it, but a 3-pointer at the final horn was off the mark.
