A solid day in the pool Saturday for the Caldwell County High School swim team. Of course, the swim team is Aaron Ziobro. Ziobro represented his school in two events Saturday at the state swim meet at the Lancaster Aquatic Center at the University of Kentucky.

Ziobro began his day in the 50 Yard Freestyle. While he did not qualify for the finals, it was a good effort for Ziobro, as he finished the race with a time of 23.03, which was .36-seconds faster than his seed time coming into the event. Ziobro swam the first 25 yards in 11.25 and finished out with an 11.78. The time was good enough to place Ziobro in 28th place. He missed swimming on Saturday night by less than 7-tenths of a second.

His second event was the 100 Yard Freestyle. Ziobro finished the 100 with a time of 51.08, which was .66-seconds faster than his seed time for the event. The time was good enough to put Ziobro in 31st place.

After his day was completed in the pool, Ziobro spoked with YourSportsEdge.Com.
