Caldwell County’s girls used a 17-0 run in the first half to take the lead and held on down the stretch to knock off Hopkins County Central 47-36 Monday night in the 7th District semifinals in Madisonville.
The Lady Tigers advance to face top-seeded Madisonville-North Hopkins in Thursday’s 7 p.m. title tilt.
