Hopkins Central finished up its first season under head coach Michael Fraliex on Tuesday with a 70-52 setback to Caldwell County in the 7th District semifinals.
The Storm started the season plagued by injuries, going 0-13. But Hopkins Central was 8-8 over its final 16 games of the campaign, building momentum for next season.
Fraliex said his team began to learn how to win games late in the season.
He spoke with YSE following Tuesday’s district tournament game.
