A pair of former 5th District rivals will square off in the first round of the boys’ 2nd Region tournament when Caldwell County and Lyon County hook up Thursday night.
Caldwell was moved to the 7th District in 2005, but the rivalry remains.
Tiger head coach Daniel Kukahiko said the two teams are very familiar with one another after meeting twice during the regular season.
