Mitchell Moore, who has taught dozens of high school and college golfers in the area in the last few years, has been named the Kentucky PGA Teacher of the Year.
Through his teaching facility at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club, Moore provides instruction to both novice, high school, college, and adult golfers from five different states. He has had golfers attend 10 different colleges.
The award was one of 12 handed out by the Kentucky PGA Sunday in Lexington.
