
Heritage Christian Academy has named former standout player Grace Waldron as the next volleyball coach of the Lady Warriors.
Waldron is a 2014 graduate of Heritage Christian Academy. She was named KCAA Miss Volleyball in 2013 in helping the Lady Warriors to a state runner-up finish. In her playing career, Waldron was a KCAA All-State selection three times and was named to the All-State Tournament Team three times. HCA won back-to-back state titles in 2010 and 2011.
Waldron takes over for Eldridge Rogers who coached two stints at HCA, and was Waldron’s coach during the 2011 state championship season and consecutive runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2013.
The Lady Warriors were 21-15 last season and won the school’s 16th consecutive region title.
