Lyon County has advanced to the 2nd Region semifinals for the first time in 10 years after knocking off longtime rival Caldwell County 65-59 Thursday night in opening round action at Hopkinsville High School.
The former 5th District rivals were meeting in the regional tourney for the first time ever.
