Berea College takes a 25-3 record into the NCAA Division III Tournament in Holland, Michigan Friday. The Mountaineers will play Illinois Wesleyan in the opener. Former Christian County Lady Colonel Aaliyah Hampton was named conference rookie of the year and player of the year after scoring 20.2 points per game. Hampton was back home earlier in the week to watch her former teammates in the girls’ region tournament and talked about her first season on the college hardwood.
