
Before Henderson County took the floor Friday night against Trigg County in a 2nd Region semifinal, Lady Colonels’ senior guard Emilee Hope was recognized as the region Player of the Year. She would go on to score 9 points in the Lady Colonels’ 69-28 victory over the Lady Wildcats, earning them a spot in Friday night’s title game against Madisonville-North Hopkins.
Afterward, Hope talked about the role the Lady Colonels’ bench played in the victory over the Lady Trojans, and looked ahead to the keys of the second meeting of the year with the Lady Maroons.
