Leading by 7 points with the ball late in the first half, the Webster County girls basketball team looked set to extend its lead over Madisonville-North Hopkins before the half. Instead, the Lady Maroons scored the last 5 points of the half, and added the first 4 of the second, to pull ahead on the way to a 53-45 2nd Region semifinal victory.
After the game, Coach Brock Stone talked about the crucial stretch against the Lady Maroons, and discussed how experience gained this season will pay off next year for the Lady Trojans.
