University Heights Academy sent their boys’ track team to the Class A Indoor State Track and Field Championships at Mason County Saturday. The Blazers brought home a tenth place finish with 24 points.
Tomas Duncan – first in the 1600-meter run (4:48.90)
Connor Dill – sixth in the 400-meter dash (57.57); sixth in the 55-meter hurdles (9.50)
Sam Cotthoff – seventh in the shot put (36-01)
Luke Shouse – eighth in the 800-meter run (2:23.76); 18th in the 1600-meter run (5:35.75)
Chase Hendricks – 11th in the 800-meter dash (2:28.66); 26th in the 1600-meter run (6:08.54)
Elvin Wagner – eighth in the long jump (17-02.25); 13th in the triple jump (33-02.75); 18th in the 400-meter dash (1:00.74); 28th in the 55-meter dash (7.49)
Trey Wyatt – 33rd in the 400-meter dash (1:05.72); 39th in the 55-meter dash (7.78)
Will Hancock – 20th in the 400-meter dash (1:00.89); 46th in the 55-meter dash (7.86)
The 1600-meter relay team finished sixth in 4:07.41.
