Despite work going on at the field, the Caldwell County softball team practiced at Lady Tiger Field on Monday.
The infield and outfield have been redone, with a warning track going in down both foul lines and around the outfield fence.
The Lady Tigers are scheduled to play a pair of scrimmages on Saturday, facing both Murray and Hickman County in Murray.
The regular season begins next Tuesday for Caldwell County, when the Lady Tigers host Calloway County.
