It has been a pretty solid season for former UHA star KyKy Tandy at Xaviers University. With the Musketeers losing their first game in the Big East tournament Wednesday night to DePaul, Xavier appears to be a long shot to reach the NCAA tournament, if there is one to reach.
For the year, Tandy has played in 25 of Xavier’s 32 games. He missed several games at the start of the season due to an injury.
Tandy scored 168 points for an average of 6.7 points per game. His high game came on January 22, when he racked up 18 points against the Georgetown Hoyas. His top game for minutes on the floor came February 17, when he played 30 minutes against St. John’s. The game against Georgetown was also his best game from behind the line, when he knocked down 4 of 8 three point attempts.
The January 22 game against Georgetown was also his top game on the glass, as Tandy snared six rebounds in the game.
After their loss in the Big East tournament, Xavier stood at 19-13 on the season.
