
A former standout girls’ basketball player in the 2nd Region has been honored on the collegiate level. Lindsey Wilson College senior DeAsia Outlaw was named NAIA Division I All-America Honorable Mention.
The Henderson County graduate averaged 14.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game during the 2019-2020 season. Lindsey Wilson finished the season with a record of 26-6.
Outlaw started 30 games for the Blue Raiders, and averaged playing nearly 33 minutes per game over the course of the season.
Her senior year at Henderson County, back in 2014-2015, Outlaw helped lead the Lady Colonels to the Elite 8 of the Girls’ Sweet 16, averaging 15.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
