With the success the UHA Blazers had over the years from 2010-2020, it was not an easy task to develop an All-Decade Team. Nevertheless, here is a look at the Top 10 players we came up with over the last decade for the Blazer progam.

FIRST TEAM

KyKy Tandy – USA Today Kentucky Player of the Year and National Athletic Association of Private Schools 3A National Player of the Year. Named 3rd Team All-State in his junior season and 2nd Team All-State in his senior season.

Drew McGowan – A two time All-Region, and All-District selection for University Heights. While signing to play baseball at Mississippi State, could have easily played basketball at the next level. Averaged 15.3 points a game his senior season, and helped lead the Blazers to the All A state title. Led the team in rebounding that year as well. Scored 11.2 a game his junior year, helping the Blazers reach the Sweet 16.

K.J. Crump – Just finished his junior season leading the Blazers in scoring at more than 20 points per game. Shot nearly 40 percent from behind the 3-point line. During his sophomore season, averaged 8.3 points per game for the Blazer team that won the All A state championship.

Matt McGowan – Another Blazer who signed to play college baseball, but also excelled on the basketball court. Scored more than 1,500 points in his high school career at University Heights.
