A date in late June has now been tentatively set for this year’s Mr. & Miss Kentucky Basketball Award Ceremony. The Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation, which oversees the event, announced Tuesday morning that they had rescheduled the event for June 28th.
The ceremony had originally been scheduled for April 5, but has to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Officials note that in addition to the Mr. & Miss Basketball awards, the Regional Players of the Year, and the Kentucky All-Stars will be honored at the event, which will be held at the Marriott Griffin Gate Hotel in Lexington.
