A second Madisonville basketball player has committed to an Ohio Valley Conference school as Ksuan Casey announced on social media Tuesday that he was headed to Tennessee-Martin.

Casey was an All-Region and All-State selection after averaging 18.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game in helping lead the Maroons to back-to-back region titles for the first time in 31 years.  Casey was expected to further show off his game at the Sweet 16 in Rupp Arena last month before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down high school sports.

Casey was a starter for Madisonville as a freshman.  He has scored 1,897 points in his Maroon career which places him second on the school’s career scoring list behind only Travis Ford, according to research done by long-time Madisonville broadcaster Bob Mays.

Casey also held an offer from Evansville before the school parted ways with head coach Walter McCarty.

His teammate Kenny White committed to Tennessee Tech earlier this year.
