A 4th Kentucky Wildcat has now announced his intention to give up his remaining eligibility and head off to the NBA. Big man Nick Richards announced Tuesday that he would not return for his senior season and would place his name in the draft and sign with an agent, thus ending his UK career.
After two lackluster seasons in Lexington, Richards exploded onto the national season during his junior season. While as a starter in 2019-20, Richards averaged 14.0 points, 7.8 boards and 2.1 blocks in 29.7 minutes of action per contest. Additionally, he shot 64.4 percent from the field and 75.2 percent from the line.
