A member of the volleyball team at University Heights Academy has been recognized for her efforts in the classroom. The Kentucky Governor’s Scholars program announced that UHA’s Beth Peebles has been selected to participate in the prestigious program.
The Governor’s Scholars Program, which was established in 1983, program provides academic and personal growth through the balance of a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience.
Students looking to be a part of the program must complete an application and compete with others from across the state. Those selected attend the program free of charge.
Peebles is set to be a senior this fall at University Heights Academy.
