A Lyon County junior is one of 100 students from across the state that will be a part of the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs later this year.
Cole Schroeder, a member of the Lyon County soccer team, was selected from a group of students that will attend the annual workshop that will take place July 12-August 1 at Northern Kentucky University.
Students will develop a business model, design a prototype, and pitch their startup project to a panel of judges. They will learn about the opportunities and benefits of taking a business concept from the idea phase and pitching it to potential investors.
