A member of the Fort Campbell girls’ wrestling team is getting the chance to continue her career at the collegiate level. Katie Guevara announced Wednesday afternoon that she would be attending Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri.
Central Methodist is an NAIA school. The Eagles finished ranked #20 in the final regular season women’s wrestling rankings. Central Methodist had five athletes qualify for the 2nd Annual NAIA Women’s Wrestling National Invitational.
Guevara was a member of the Lady Falcons team that finished 4th in the 2020 state tournament. She finished 5th in her weight class in both her senior and junior seasons.
