We’ve told you this week about milestone wins being approached by the Caldwell County baseball and softball programs next spring.

Looking to this fall, the Lady Tiger volleyball team will be hoping to make a run at a landmark of its own.

Assuming the coronavirus will allow for a full season in 2020, Caldwell’s volleyball team could reach 500 wins all-time.

The Lady Tigers need 23 victories to get to that mark. Caldwell has an all-time mark of 477 wins, 191 losses and two ties in 19 seasons of volleyball.

Caldwell has averaged just over 25 wins a year on the volleyball court.
In 19 seasons, the Lady Tigers have won 15 district championships, including the last 13 in a row.

Caldwell has captured five 2nd Region championships and has been regional runner-up four times.

The Lady Tigers have won the All A Classic regional title every year they have been eligible, winning the small school regional 10 times.

Caldwell was the All A Classic state champion in 2010.

In case you missed it earlier this week, the Caldwell baseball team needs just two wins to reach 800. The Lady Tiger softball team is 10 wins away from 400 victories all-time.
