Steve Kukahiko’s first season as Caldwell County High School tennis coach consisted of exactly one match.
The Tigers and Lady Tigers each defeated Paducah St. Mary just days before the coronavirus brought an end to everyone’s season.
Kukahiko was at the CCHS tennis courts Saturday night for Caldwell’s “Light the Night” salute to its spring sports athletes, especially the seniors.
YSE spoke with Kukahiko about a promising season that never came to be.
