Georgetown University junior Ross Whipple has been named to the Mid-South Conference Track and Field Champions of Character Team.
Student-athletes are nominated for the Champions of Character Team by their coaches based on campus and community leadership, future ambition and demonstration of the five core character values of the NAIA.
Whipple is a Christian County High School graduate who finished second in the shot put at the 2019 Mid-South Conference Championship. He was the favorite to win the event entering the 2020 track season before it was canceled due to COVID-19.
