With the spring sports season in the books prematurely, YourSportsEdge.com has reached out to coaches, and they have provided us with information and comments on their seniors. We will be recognizing the Class of 2020 for the remainder of what would have been the spring sports season.
Layne Jorgensen is a member of the Hopkinsville High School baseball team.
“Layne had a wonderful year last year. He continued to increase each year as a player, offensively, defensively, and pitching,” said Hopkinsville Coach Blake Leach. He is a super athletic player and would have played in multiple positions this year. Pitching wise, he had gotten to the point to where he could have been a game changer for us on the mound.”
“I am very proud to have had the opportunity to coach these seniors in their high school career. They have improved each year as players and as young adults,” Leach said.
