Detorrion Ware, Christian County boys’ basketball’s all-time leading scorer, has announced via his Instagram that he will be entering the transfer portal and leaving Jacksonville State after two seasons with the Gamecocks.
As a freshman Ware averaged 5.3 points per game and led the Gamecocks with 25 made 3-pointers. He blossomed as a sophmore, more than doubling his scoring average to 12.3 points per game to go with 5.3 rebounds per contest. He shot 43% from the field.
