Cadie Suding did something Tuesday that only a handful of Fort Campbell Lady Falcons have done before her. She signed to play softball at the college level.
Suding put pen to paper and signed with Concord College in Athens, West Virginia. She batted .457 for the Lady Falcons last year with seven doubles and 10 RBIs.
“She is only the third Lady Falcon softball player to play at the next level and the first to go as high as Division II to my knowledge,” Fort Campbell Coach David Watson said. “She is a coach on an off the field with leadership beyond comparison.”
Concord is an NCAA Division II school that competes in the Mountain East Conference. They were 8-6-1 before COVID-19 ended their season prematurely.
