Apollo junior Macey Brown was named the Region 2 golfer of the year by the coaches after finishing second at the region tourney and 32nd at state. Brown finished tied for second Sunday at the Bluegrass Golf Tour stop at Drake Creek and says she will use the summer events to get ready to make a run at a region title in the fall.
