Jessica Stephens was last year’s region golf runner-up for McCracken County and is working on her game this summer as she prepares to play for Bellarmine University. She won the weekend’s Bluegrass Golf Tour stop at Drake Creek by one shot over Apollo’s Macey Brown and St. Mary’s Ellie Roof with two birdies and 19 pars over her 36 holes.
