Trigg County’s Aaron Yielding was known for a couple of things during his time patrolling the Wildcat midfield from 2007-10, kicking people indiscriminately and a flamethrower of a left leg. He was at the heart of four teams that combined for 55 wins, 17 losses, and 9 draws, culminating in a 21-1-1 senior campaign.
Yielding scored a number of free kick goals, but none more impressive than this 45-yard bomb in the season-opening match against Fort Campbell in 2010. The Wildcats would earn a come from behind 3-3 draw with the Falcons, before winning their next 21 games in a row.
Watch as Yielding scores one of the best goals in program history in this Max’s Moment.
