Former Caldwell County standout Oliver Parker will head back to Western Kentucky University this fall after a redshirt year on the Hilltopper football team in 2019.
Parker had a stellar high school career as a wide receiver with the Tigers.
He is fifth on Caldwell County’s all-time receiving yards list with 1,829 yards. He is 10th in career receptions with 106. Eighteen of those catches went for touchdowns.
Parker was named Class 3A 1st District Player of the Year by the Kentucky Football Coaches Association and honorable mention for the Kentucky Associated Press All-State Team as a senior for the Tigers in 2018.
Your Sports Edge caught up with Parker last week in Princeton and got his thoughts on playing for the Hilltoppers.
