Todd County Central turned within the Todd County School District to find the new head girls’ basketball coach. School officials announced Friday afternoon that Lee Quarles will be the next head coach of the Lady Rebels’ program.
Quarles is in his second year as Assistant Principal of Todd County Central High School. He has worked with various programs in Clarksville, with over 18 years’ experience coaching basketball.
Quarles began his coaching career as a volunteer with AAU and high school basketball, along with coaching at Kenwood Middle School in Clarksville. Most recently under his leadership, he led the Kenwood Middle School Knights to the district championship and a state quarterfinal appearance in 2018.
Quarles replaces Scott Fleming, who stepped down after one season at the helm of the Lady Rebels’ program.
