Former Christian County golfer Hannah Sumner shot an 86 on Monday at Lakeshore Country Club in Madisonville, taking 1st place in the GO Junior Golf Series stop.
Sumner, who will be heading to Lindsey Wilson College in the Fall, finished ahead of some familiar faces from the 8th District. UHA’s Riley Johnson and Jessah Hayden tied with a 109, with Johnson taking 2nd place due to a better score over the last 9 holes. Henderson County’s Dylan Elliott finished 4th with a 110.
The next stop for the GO Junior Series will be Thursday at Central City Country Club.
