Trigg County’s Ivey Redd is back playing golf and shot a 42 Monday to finish second at the GO Series stop at Lakeshore Country Club in Madisonville. Redd played golf in middle school before giving football a try. Now the upcoming sophomore is back on the links and ready to help the Trigg golf team be a region contender in 2020.
Redd’s round of 42 was one shot behind Leitchfield’s Jackson Mayes who took first place in the 13-15 division. Henderson’s Grayson Coughlin finished third with a 42.
