After spending Monday at Lakeshore Country Club in Madisonville, the GO Junior Series Golf Tour pulled into the Central City Country Club on Thursday.
In the boys’ 16-18 division Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Aaron Munger took the top spot with a 76, following a 2nd-place 75 earlier in the week. Braden Whistle of Owensboro was second with a 78, while Christian County’s Micah Smith finished 4th with an 87. Lincoln Smith of Hopkinsville shot a 95 to tie for 6th.
In the boys’ 13-15 18-hole division Shelton Smith shot a 76 to lead the field, followed in 2nd by Mercer Rogers with an 84. Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Ben Dickerson shot a 42 on both the front and back to tie for 3rd with an 84, while Hopkins County Central’s Dreaw Lewis was 6th with an 88. Hopkinsville’s Joey Falco shot an 89 to place 7th.
Also, Trigg County’s Ivey Redd finished tied for 6th with a 52 in the boys’ 13-15 9-hole division.
