Marshall County golfer Jay Nimmo finished tied for seventh at the Golf Week Junior Golf Tour stop at Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia, Ohio Tuesday.
Nimmo, the defending KHSAA state golf champion, finished at four-over par to finish seven shots behind the winner, Connor Gdovin of Highland Heights, Ohio.
Nimmo shot a 1-under 70 in the first round, with two birdies and 15 pars. He shot a 5-over 76 on the second day.
